Smart Entertainment as a Call to ACTION at UCF~~

UCF's Eco Advocates and Greenpeace team up next Thursday (10/22) at 6:30 to screen The Age of Stupid and get folks registered for Power Shift.  Swing by the Brooklyn Pizza Movie Theater in Ferrell Commons to watch a post-apocalyptic film about the repercussions of climate change. The event will host surprise speakers and discuss ways you can take action, including getting registered for Power Shift.

Let's Get Motivated!

Florida Power Shift is just around the corner!  It's time to get active and get motivated and get students at schools all around the state to stand up and take action: let's make sure that the climate legislation we have heard so much about recently take into accounts our demands. The time for action is now.  Let's start a movement!

Register today!

Nuclear and Drilling in Florida? No way--Register now to demand a Power Shift!!

Now, more than ever, Floridians need to stand up and show we are ready to usher in a brighter energy future. An energy future that is just and safe for all and uses truly renewable sources. An energy future that neither relies on fossil fuels nor creates a legacy of radioactive waste for tens of thousands of years. Want solar in the Sunshine State? Florida needs a POWER SHIFT!

Registration Extravaganza!

Oh, we are so close to Florida Power Shift! With only 16 days left, we are all working hard to ensure the best event possible. But what would that event be without YOU? That's right! We need you in order for Florida Power Shift  to send strong signals to our elected officials that Florida takes climate change seriously and that we demand strong climate legislation.
